Don’t Dump Design Fashion Show
An exclusive charity fashion show hosted by TV nutritionist Amanda Hamilton showcased the ‘upcycled’ outfits by 12 of Scotland’s up and coming design students with the winning design announced by guest judge and super model Anna Freemantle.
Held at the award winning Voodoo Rooms on Sunday 7 October 2012, the ‘Don’t Dump, Design’ event was ran by Mary’s Living & Giving Shop for Save the Children.
Edinburgh’s fashionistas had the opportunity to buy the one-off designs when they were auctioned off on the night and were also be able to browse through items from independent boutiques and designers in a range of pop up shops including Fabhatrix, Dazed Dorothy and Mary’s Living and Giving. Exclusive donations from Scottish designers Lasvicious, Louise Ferdinand, Beautiful Bottoms and Dawntroversial were also auctioned on the night.
Amanda & Ebony created the looks for the evening and hair was styled by Be Ba Boom Hairdressing.
