GlamArtist agency is a team of freelance hair and make up artists. The agency manages enquiries, bookings and payments for Weddings, TV, Editorial, Fashion Shows. All stylists have their own insurance.
GlamArtist Agency Staff
All job specifics will be agreed with the makeup artist prior to booking. This includes, dates, job descriptions and pay.
If you are represented with GlamArtist Agency you are still allowed to work on your own projects and continue as a freelancer.
If you are working on a job for GlamArtists you are representing ‘the agency’ and must not promote yourself as a freelancer or hand out your own promotional material to our clients.
GlamArtist Agency Staff Obligations
A. Makeup Artist shall provide Services with reasonable care and skill.
B. Makeup Artist shall perform the Services promptly on the date and time agreed.
C. If Makeup Artist is unable to perform agreed services for any unforeseeable reason, unavoidable
situation agrees to arrange for an equally qualified makeup Artist to complete the agreed upon services.
D. Glam shall use her own products in the provision of the Services.
E. Glam will arrange means of transport and have their own mobile phone but may claim legitimate expenses subject to prior agreement
Staff are required to invoice GlamArtists for the agreed amount of the job on completion of the work. If invoices are received on or before the 20th of the month you will be paid on the last working day of the month. If the invoice is submitted past this date your payment will be processed at the end of the following month.
Enquiries, booking and payment process
Enquiries can be made via the phone, website or by email. Once particulars are established we will send you a quote via email. We take payments in advance of bridal trails and once trial is complete and the customer/client is happy with the results payment of the wedding is then due and must be paid 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Please note that the booking is not complete until this deposit has been received in full.
Deposit payments to the agency can be made via cheque or bank transfer. Address and details will be included in your quote which you will receive via email.
You will receive a Booking Confirmation via email, this will include a break down of all costs including trial, remaining wedding balance and travel expenses.
Cancellation of your booking
If for any reason you wish to cancel your booking, we must receive this in writing via email. If you cancellation is received more than six weeks before your wedding date, you will be issued a full refund minus a £30 administration fee. Your refund will be issued via the same method of payment the deposit was originally made with. Refunds can not be issued via an alternative method or to a third party.
Cancelling within the six week period prior to your wedding date will result in the entire deposit being retained.
If you cancel your wedding within 7 days prior to your wedding date we will require the remaining balance in full.
Alterations to your trial and booking
We must be made aware of any alterations to number of clients, times locations and dates as soon as they become apparent.
Changes to the amount of clients in the wedding day booking must be finalised in writing, via email and confirmed with us 14 days before the wedding. This applies to both adding and deducting to and from the total amount of clients. Failure to confirm deductions to the total amount within the stipulated time, will result in the original remaining balance being paid in full. When making additions, a further deposit will be payable to the agency. This will be 50% of the total cost of additional clients, the remaining 50% will be payable to the stylist on or before the wedding date. Once confirmed and subsequent deposit has been received, an amended Booking Confirmation will be sent via email with these included.
Times and locations
Timing changes need to be discussed with your stylist. Your stylist will work to a schedule in accordance to the amount of clients in your booking so this may alter arrival and start time. If your location changes this may result in an alteration to the travel charge of your booking. We will do all we can to accommodate and it will be judged on a case by case basis.
If your wedding date changes your original stylist will be immediately allocated, however if for any reason this is not possible we will look to replace them with an alternative stylist. Should you require an additional trial with a new stylist as a result of a change in your wedding date, this will incur a further trial cost at the same rate of your original trial. Cancellation policy terms apply should you wish to cancel the booking subsequent of a change in your wedding date.
If for any reason you are unable to keep to your arranged trial appointment, you must let your stylist know via phone or email as soon as you can. They must be made aware at least 48 hours before if you need to rearrange your trial. If it is within 48 hours of the arranged time we request you pay 50% to the stylist via cheque or bank transfer upon rescheduling.
Illness and emergency
In the unforeseen event of an emergency, all stylist are covered by another member of the team i.e – we will never let you down. Stylist are instructed to make notes of products used at trial and
In an extreme case should a stylist not be able to attend you will be refunded and compensated.
Cancellation of a confirmed booking not less than 14 working days before the first date of the booking call time will be charged at 50% of the agreed fee. Cancellation of a confirmed booking less than 14 working days before the date of the booking call time will be charged at 100% of the total fee, in each case payable to CHM no later than 30 days after the date of cancellation.
Cancellations: Press, Media and Editorial
Cancellation of a confirmed booking within 48 hours (working days) of the booking call time the full booking fee will be charged and payable by the client unless the same artist is booked within 24 hours (working day) of the cancellation in which case half the booking fee will be charged and payable by the client.The full booking fee will be charged and payable by the client for bookings of more than three working days duration: within a period equal to or less than the length of the booking, then Saturdays, Sundays and bank and public holidays are excluded for the purpose of determining the cancellation notice period. In each case payable to CHM no later than 30 days after the date of cancellation.
Cancellation of a confirmed booking within 48 hours (working days) of the booking call time the full booking fee will be charged and payable by the client. Outside 48 hours of the booking call time but within 72 hours of the booking call time of the booking date then half the booking fee will be charged and payable by the client , in each case payable to CHM no later than 30 days after the date of cancellation.
